2019 gave us a very small harvest of intensely flavoured Riesling grapes with a wonderful depth of fruit. The 2019 BFG has a beautiful nose of limes, lemons, lychees, blackcurrant, blackcurrant leaf and sweet apple. And there’s a massive volume of delicious, ripe fruit on the palate, all shot through with a mouth-watering zestiness. A Riesling of remarkable depth and richness. Marvellous on its own or try with a Thai beef salad, chili prawns or oysters au naturel.
