- Description
After Riesling, my favourite variety is Grenache and that’s because it’s so versatile and can be crafted into so many different styles.
This wine is right at the far end of the savoury spectrum but it’s spicy too. Its bursting with aromas of cinnamon, cloves and a good splash of fine French oak. The palate is rich, soft and almost slippery with great length and texture and a finish that doesn’t stop. Delicious and ready to drink now.

A butterflied leg of lamb rubbed with a paste of anchovies, garlic and rosemary and roasted in a hot oven for not too long so it’s still deliciously pink in the middle.
And haggis is an excellent match too.- Attached Files

The Wine Orbit - Professional
October 29, 2019 13:30This is gracefully maturing and beautifully complex on the nose showing dried cherry, game, leather, assorted nut and cake spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is plump and supple. The wine offers gorgeous flowing mouthfeel, leading to a persistent velvety finish. At its best: now 2022.
