2014 Jeanneret Hummer Merlot Shiraz
- Clare Valley
- Bottle size
- 750 mL
Overflowing with ripe, dark fruits and a lift that is so perfumed. It’s a bit big to be a called a pretty wine but it is a beauty nonetheless. There’s heaps of fruit and spice and plenty of oak too and all in harmony that makes for a big, round and complex drink. It’s opulent and extravagant and absolutely approachable and delicious.

This fabulous blend shows impressive ripe fruit notes of blackberry and plum jam on the nose together with seductive vanilla, cocoa and cedar characters. It is succulent and powerful on the palate, delivering mouthfilling texture and substantial body, superbly framed by silky tannins. Multi-layered and hugely appealing. At its best: now to 2026
