"If you’re partial to a bit of BBQ sauce on your bangers then this is the wine accompaniment. Indeed, it’s the wine and the sauce in one, at a pretty handy price.

Yes it’s sweet and rich and yes it’s jammy, but it’s got a good deal of extractive tannins keeping it all in place and as long as a bit of fruit sweetness doesn’t bother you, it smells and tastes darn good. Raisins, chocolate, cloves and eucalypt. Lots of gravelly, sandy tannins. Appropriate, sawdusty/coconutty oak input and a large amount of bang for your buck. A lot of folks are going to love this."
